Titus: Courage and Conviction in an Age of Compromise
Ever wonder how churches got started? What and who they are to be built on? How they are supposed to stay healthy and grow? Titus has the answers and the inspiration. Titus is three intense chapters of God's written voice explaining that the gospel produces godly character. It's an honest little letter, recognizing that churches exist in the midst of cultures who could care less, would love for them to compromise their beliefs, and would love for churches to love without truth - which is nothing like God's love. This means that believers must have courage and conviction ... not on made up stuff, but on the truth of God "Who never lies" (1:2). Buckle your seat belts and open your hearts and hands to let God lead us.

Psalms: Sing to the King
The Psalms reveal to us how our brothers and sisters of old related to God: how their knowledge of God affected their decisions and feelings, but mostly ... their worship. Psalms isn't a collection of coffee-house poetry... it's an opus of truth with resolute response to the character of God aimed at God-worship forecasting Jesus Christ! The New Testament writers, through the Holy Spirit, quote the Psalms far more than any other book. Jesus had the Psalms memorized and communicated His own message and mission using the pre-inspired and foretold Words from the Psalms. Everyone I know wants to grow in prayer, but your growth will stunt unless you're a student of the Psalms. Every emotion you've ever felt and many you have yet to feel pulse through the Psalms, but these emotions do not pulse ambiguously without God as do culturally-driven emotions. Emotion for God causes devotional fervency to love and live for Him. Psalms are songs from the soul, emotion with devotion, so we might join in the heavenly chorus and Sing to the King!

On the Job: God's Word for Godly Working
We will work somewhere around 91,000 hours in our lifetimes. These are critical hours, hours that can be fruitful far beyond paychecks. Work is an environment to exhibit your heart, soul, mind, and strength in God. Work is not a confusing curse. Work is a generous gift from God. This means that while you’re on the job, you must apply God’s Word for godly working. Work Faithfully. Work Wisely. Work Hard. Work Joyfully. Work Boldly. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." Proverbs 16:3 God has written your job description
