Teacher Totes from Harvest Bible Chapel Raleigh on Vimeo.
There are 65 full-time teachers at Fox Road Elementary School and, like last year, we are going to fill bags with the supplies listed below. We'll be delivering them to the school at 10am on Wednesday, August 17th. Take a "bathroom break" from work to help give your bag(s) of supplies to a teacher face-to-face.The bags are available at the welcome table on Sunday mornings until then. The first 20 bags are Harvest Totes (like last year). After that, Harris Teeter has donated 50 paper bags that we'll fill with teacher supplies. Also, pick up a Harvest note card and write a nice note from your family to that anonymous teacher per bag you fill.
If you won't be able to make it on August 17th, bring your tote to church on Sunday morning, August 14th, and leave it in the lobby. We'll get it to the teachers on Wednesday.
Here's the list: highlighters, variety color dry-erase markers, clipboard, colored post-it notes, pens, pencils, plastic ware (forks, knives, spoons), gallon-sized bags, baby wipes, tissues, and paper towels.
Coupon, buy in-bulk, put into multiple bags after a small group meeting, get neighbors and co-workers involved, etc.
Principal Melanie Rhoads says, "This is very kind of all of you! Thanks especially for looking out for the teachers and taking care of them."
