Rolla, MO

It's 7:30pm.  Vanessa and I drove 10hrs today from Dallas.  We have only 7 for tomorrow before we reach Elgin!  Then, our new friends at Harvest are going to help us unload.  We're excited about getting settled in Elgin.  We're also pretty sad about leaving Dallas, a great 4+ years for us with some absolutely incredible people! 

Thanks to everyone who helped us pack up, load up, and clean.  A special thanks to Kevin and Jenny Crow for being our duplex neighbors and blessings us multiple times a day with their fellowship and proximity.  They did so much to help us in the last month with packing. 

College students, we love you guys and will miss you dearly!  It was really tough for us to say "see ya later".   Come visit us in Elgin, IL and take us on at Wii!  Thanks so much for the parting gifts and the donation to AIDS work in Africa through Vanessa's new iPod.  Wow.  Continue to discipline yourselves to walk with the Lord rather than all other things fighting for your attraction!  Tay-Tay, Jo-E, Garry, Jefe, Harry, and Snug - thanks so much!

This next 8 months in Elgin is going to be great!  I can't wait to learn what I need to know to plant a church really, really well.  Thanks Lord for this opportunity.
