Carol and I have very comical conversations determining nicknames for things. She and Mike (her great husband) are Professional Nicknamers (P.N.) evidenced by nicknames for their car and phones, life scenarios, restaurants, etc.
Plus, Carol Walter, P.N., gathers nicknames like our shoes are gathering pollen right now:
"Vitamin-C" - her name starts with C and her presence is healthy
"8-Ball" - she identified herself with this name when I called her once, now I keep it alive!
And most recently...
"THE BABY WHISPERER"! This one is hilarious!
Harvest has a knack for babies. I've been here in Raleigh since April 30th last year and we've had seven babies born and we're not a big church. I like to say we're growing the church and raising a generation of disciples for Jesus through procreation!
