Next Christmas, Harvest Bible Chapel North Raleigh will be 3 1/2 months old! Toward this, we WORK in prayer.
"[He] made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men." Phil 2:7
This is who Jesus is in Heaven, the form from which He humbled Himself to serve the Father and save us from our deserved wrath: "...one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white as wool, as white as snow. His eyes were like flames of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like a roar of many waters...WHEN I SAW HIM, I FELL AT HIS FEET AS THOUGH DEAD." Rev. 1:13-17
"[He] made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men." Phil 2:7
Deity from conception by the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:20)
Humanity from his mother, Mary. (Matthew 1:20)
Jeshua (salvation!) through His perfect life as the God-man! (Hebrews 5:9-10)
In order to be the only possible, perfect, acceptable sacrifice: God.
In order to be the actual salvation for the sins of humans: man.
In order to be saved: confess and believe, giving our lives (1 John 1:9; Matthew 16:24)
Merry Christmas to each of you and your entire families!
"For your progress and joy in the faith" (Phil. 1:25),
Mike, Vanessa, and Maddie Willis
