We look within and we look around and we recognize our desperate needs. We strive and toil and realize we come up short. We watch the news and are greatly concerned.
In the 2011-2012 ministry year, LIFT YOUR EYES and look to & talk about what God is doing, His power, His glory, His love, His Word, fixing your eyes on Him & hoping in Him alone as all else fails.
Every sermon series will consider why God is worthy of our deepest attention and affection and how to lift your eyes unto Him. On September 11th, 2011, an important day in the history of our nation, I'll preach a sermon entitled "Life Your Eyes". Then, for much of the fall, I'll preach through Colossians. Other preaching series you can expect this year include worship, godly living in this present age, the Holy Spirit, prayer and evangelism.
Year three at Harvest Bible Chapel North Raleigh is going to be our best yet. Why? The LORD is at work within us. Invite your friends to walk with you as you Lift Your Eyes to the Lord.
