Christmas generosity

Posted by Mike Willis on Thursday, December 09, 2010.
One of many reasons why I love this time of year is the generous spirit most people let rise up within them.

I've scratched one or two things from my list and am replacing it with several things above.  Don't think I'm great or anything, Vanessa led on this one last week when we gave into family pressure to make our Christmas lists and she picked some things below!  If you're searching high-and-low for how you could give in powerful ways, here are some suggestions:

Harvest Bible Chapel North Raleigh (or your local church family)
Churches Helping Churches (currently matching gifts)
Samaritan's Purse (everything from crop seeds to evangelists)

Obviously, there are plenty of great options.  These are three I know to be accountable and gospel-centered, well-mobilized to multiply what you give for God's glory and the well-being of others.

Receiving is a blast ... I love getting gifts, but giving gifts is far more rewarding and the buzz lasts far longer.  Let's get addicted.
