On Sunday morning, Harvest is flying me to Asheville, NC to preach at Northview Church ( http://northviewusa.com/ ). Their pastor, Russ Johnson, is here doing a 6-week pastoral residency and during this time, I and the other training center fellas are flying down their for some pulpit supply. I'm preaching on one of Harvest's 4 pillars: Believing firmly in the power of prayer. Please be praying for this time! It'll be great to be in NC!
Yesterday was Vanessa's birthday and I was so happy to be home for a little while in the afternoon to spend some time with her since I don't usually get to have this privilege! We just sat on the back porch and read and she talked on the phone a bit to friends calling to wish her a happy day! She is one amazing woman! Thank you, Lord.
After Sunday's sermon (and the prep that remains), I hope to get on this blog and spend some time describing our few weeks her thus far, as well as maybe put up some pictures!
